I’m hot today. I wouldn’t usually feel this way yet, but my pregnant body is extra warm. So, what do I do? I’m turning to some refreshing and nutritious raw beverages to keep my body cool and my cells (and baby) nourished. Here are two awesome ones I’m enjoying today!
Cukes On Ice
I’ve been drinking green juice (including plain cucumber juice) for years since going Raw, but I had no idea how fun and refreshing this simple hydrating beverage would be… on ice! Who KNEW!? Simply juice 2-3 cucumbers and pour over ice. (To make this juice extra fast, I used my Breville.) Enjoy and feel the cool!
Sweet Chilly Shake
I whipped this up in my blender because I was hungry, hot, and wanting something super yummy. It had 1.5 cups nut milk (or any plant based milk), couple handfuls of ice, 2.5 bananas, 2 tablespoons flax meal, 2 tablespoons hemp protein powder. This was AWESOME! I’m going to have another one later today.
