Funny times…
Greg has this old pop-up copy of Puss in Boots from when he was a kid. The other day Kamea pulls it out and sees this picture on the cover.

To which she loudly exclaims, “Papa! Papa!”
Now, we really got a chuckle out of that because, well, it is not her Papa and (hopefully) doesn’t actually look like him. But, she said it. So, upon closer inspection, well, there are some similarities. He’s always in his chair leaning back, with food, and drink, and smiling. (He doesn’t have the belly though – haha)
Okay, so we all got a laugh out of it. Poked fun at my step-dad for it. But then…
Kamea opens the book and is flipping through it. She comes to this page.

And… wait for it… loudly exclaims, “Mama! Mama!”
