2 cups Fresh Herb Green Soup: 1-2 cups water, 2 leaves rainbow chard, 1 apple (cored), juice from 1 orange, 1 zucchini, 2 teaspoons fresh chives, 1T miso, 4-5 romaine lettuce leaves, 1 avocado, 1 yellow bell pepper, handful of sprouts blended in and some more on top, 1T tamari, juice from 1/2 lemon, 1/4 cup fresh basil, 1T fresh dill
Wednesday I wasn’t feeling my best, so today I wanted to eat extra clean and a little on the lighter side. I’ve been craving a lot of fruits (especially red fruits, although today’s food in particular isn’t high in red because I already gobbled up the strawberries, raspberries, etc earlier this week).
Organic pineapple – a whole pineapple – I ate most of it in the morning, the rest in the green smoothie below
Organic apple
Protein bar from GoMacro (Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip) – I really like these. They’re available at Whole Foods, but I get mine online from Amazon.com by the box so it’s cheaper per bar.
Organic Green Smoothie – small head of romaine lettuce, pineapple, orange
Organic apple
Organic red bell pepper – sometimes I just eat these like an apple
2 slices sprouted bread (toasted) topped with mashed avocado
Gigantic Salad (romaine, hemp seeds, red bell pepper, tomato, cucumber) with a dressing of coconut vinegar, raw olive oil, Himalayan crystal salt and pepper
Here is one of my latest and greatest concoctions! I love it so much that at night when I’m going to bed, I’m already looking forward to the next day when I get to make it. It’s that good! I named it Cherry Chocolate Bomb Shake because it’s the bomb! This fun shake is loaded with superior nutrition including superfood hemp seeds, raw chocolate powder, and hemp protein powder, along with organic fruit. It has about 35 grams of raw vegan protein, which is great for the little baby growing inside me. Oh, and I recently shared this recipe with another pregnant mama friend of mine and she went crazy for it. She loved it so much that she went to the store and stocked up on the ingredients so she could make it over and over. YUM! I’m going to say it again…. YUM!!! OH! And this will make a perfect Valentine’s Day shake.
