When I’m feeling lazy, and I want a boost of veggies in my diet, I drink veggie powder. (Stay with me on this.)
I simply take a teaspoon of Dr. Cowan’s Garden Vegetable* powder (usually a mixed veggie option, or sometimes beet or kale alone).
I add it to a shaker bottle or reused kombucha bottle with 4 to 6 ounces of cold water. Shake it and drink it down.
It’s really good too! I mean, I’m not going to savor it over crushed ice with a sprig of mint. But, it’s not like those icky dark green powders that are a gag to get down. (You know the ones. They make you ask yourself why you torture yourself.)
This is actually quite good(!), as it only tastes like fresh vegetables.
Pro-Tip: This is brilliant for traveling. Gotta keep the veggies up in the diet!
